The straight six of the BMW 335d is a 3.0 turbo diesel that can do 155 miles per hour and get 35 mpg on average. The 335d hybrid is not aimed at fuel efficiency or hybrid lovers at all. It is a speed demon of a sports car that has the clean diesel feature that uses Urea in the exhaust system to promote a lesser emission output.

It only comes with a six-speed transmission and 5000 rpm should be sufficient for any previous diesel owner. Since it isn’t the most fuel economy focused hybrid on our list of review, the BMW 335d only gets a $900 hybrid tax credit for 2009. Despite that, you are in for the quickest and most responsive drives that any hybrid on the road can offer.
