mercedes.jpgMercedes Bluetec ReviewThe 2010 Mercedes Bluetec models are some of the greatest German engineered vehicles ever created. The Bluetec clean diesel engines have a diesel urea synthetic compound called AdBlue that is injected into the exhaust stream in order to reduce emissions. Diesel fuel has a much higher fuel economy than gasoline engines, but most catalytic converters don’t work well with it. So the solution for the Mercedes Bluetec is using the diesel urea compound. 215 horsepower is a standard on all three of the new models and the turbo diesels are engines that gives you everything you want out of a hybrid SUV’s. This Mercedes Bluetec review was conducted when the hybrids first came out this year and we hear that the system is even more efficient on the 2011 Mercedes Bluetec models in the making. The hybrid vehicle tax credit for the GL 320 Bluetec is paying at $1,800, while the R320 Bluetec is at $1,550 and the ML 320 is only paying at $900.  This new technology of using diesel urea is being implemented in other diesel models but the Mercedes Bluetec is the first of it’s kind.Mercedes Bluetec Review
